Lifecycle management
Projects and operations in SAP Cloud ALM
SAP Cloud ALM is SAP's cloud-based application lifecycle management solution. It covers implementation, from tasks and requirements to testing and deployment, and operations, with health, job, integration and business process monitoring and alerts. Mainstream maintenance for SAP Solution Manager 7.2 ends at the end of 2027, and SAP recommends moving to SAP Cloud ALM before then.
We use SAP Cloud ALM to plan and track implementations, run tests, and monitor SAP systems in production. For teams still on SAP Solution Manager, we help plan what moves to SAP Cloud ALM and in what order.
How we help
- Project setup: tasks, requirements and user stories, tracked through to deployment
- Test planning and execution, manual and automated, with defects tracked in one place
- Monitoring for jobs, interfaces and system health, with alerts sent to the right people
- Alerts on the jobs and interfaces that matter most, such as IS-U billing runs and meter-to-cash interfaces
- A plan for moving from SAP Solution Manager to SAP Cloud ALM
- Monitoring and alert handling as part of ongoing application support
