SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management

SAP BRIM designed around the products you sell

We start from the products and pricing you want to sell, then design SOM, Convergent Charging, Convergent Invoicing and FI-CA around them.

The problem

What we usually hear first

  1. 01

    Legacy billing, copied

SOM designed to mirror the old system instead of the products you want to sell.

  2. 02

    Invoicing scope that keeps growing

More Convergent Invoicing sources than go-live can carry.

  3. 03

    FI-CA underestimated

Contract accounting integration takes longer than the plan allowed.

  4. 04

    Hard to trace a charge

Nobody can follow a charge from order to invoice to posting quickly.

What we do

How we fix it

Order to invoice, traceable

Every charge can be followed from the subscription order through rating and invoicing to the posting, which makes testing and disputes faster.

  • Subscription Order Management designed to the target commercial model
  • Convergent Charging rate and charge design
  • Convergent Invoicing billable item flows, with go-live scope kept tight

FI-CA and revenue, reconciled

Contract accounting and revenue recognition are designed with BRIM from the start, not added at the end.

  • FI-CA posting configuration and reconciliation with SAP FI/CO
  • Revenue recognition with SAP RAR
  • Full implementation, a single workstream, or gap-fill and rescue

FAQ

Questions about SAP BRIM

Do you implement all of BRIM or individual components?

Both. We deliver full implementations, single workstreams such as Convergent Invoicing or FI-CA, and gap-fill on programs already under way.

Can we bring in one or two BRIM consultants rather than a team?

Yes. We place individual senior BRIM consultants, for example in Convergent Invoicing or FI-CA, on programs run by you or by your system integrator. You interview them first.

Is SAP BRIM only for telecom?

No. Any business with subscription or usage-based products can use it. We work on BRIM for utilities, tolling, and telecom and media.

Can you help a BRIM program that is already in trouble?

Yes. We start by reviewing the design against the products you sell, then fix the parts that block go-live first.
